M62 J20 gantry cams live 24x7

Found out the hard way that a few of the M62 cameras between the top of the M60 and Yorkshire are ‘always on’ even if the variable speeds aren’t in use. I drive to MAN airport every week early doors and as barrel past them all and they’ve never gone off …..until now!
Be careful out there.

I thought it was common knowledge that the cameras were on even if no limit showed? I have certainly been treating them as if they are set to 70 when not on.
