Hi all, should have posted on this thread ages ago. I'm in Shaw near Oldham, I think I'm the only person around here with a PH smily on their car, to my knowledge, no-ones ever recognised it.
Love your MK3 GTI. I had an 1800 Mk3 Driver that was immaculate, and the best built car I've ever had, just not very fast.

Well park it at the petrol station on the bypass and stand next to it wearing a blue carnation holding a copy of the daily mail and I'll wave when I drive past (I'm in Tod btw)

I'm getting visions of Cold War style espionage....
Maybe we ought to have some sort verbal ID, just to make sure you've got the right person. "The red cow flies south for winter" sounds about right.
If none of that makes sense it's because I've just got home from a night shift, am absolutely goosed and am enjoying my lager breakfast.

Thanks. I think it's the best colour too, it's just a shame Ford didn't fancy painting the bumpers and bodykit the same shade That'll teach me for straying from a German make.
Another newbie, I live in Blackrod nr Bolton, work in Whitefield, Manchester.
If you use the M61 in the morning tween J6 and J3 and pass an ambulance with the a*/e end painted black -- that'll be me.
I also own 3 Duttons for my sins. Nearly finished the rebuild on the latest one. thats one done and two to go.
I will post a pic or two when its back in one piece and driveable.
