I've no idea why people where talking about Corsa bodykits, I briefly heard the topic of conversation when I went in for a drink, and then ran back outside just to be safe :-)

I wasn't even sure if the people inside where part of the meet or not.

No brake upgrade yet, still trawling Ebay for some 4pot calipers:') Now also need new discs on the back as one of the buggers warped at the weekend:'( must also mention, Kirsty wasn't the only girl who could drive, bloody hell is your TT quick!!!)
P.S Coffee is on you next time!

Hey Cheddar… nice to hear from you. Oops about ya warping disc – how the hell did that happen – you were not braking excessively at the meet? How many miles have done since the last change?

Am looking forward to getting up to another one – I owe you a coffee!

ps: Didn't realise one of the Westies had a bit of coming-together with the roundabout - hope not too much damage done.

Own fault for the rear brakes, had a bit of a 'BLONDE MOMENT' 30 miles up the motorway with the handbrake on!!!! Doh

Scottie,
C9/89 is me Justin, the bloke who was discussing the vents where the fog lights used to be on your car and the guy with me who you bumped into at Asda was Sim (Sim 89). Hope that helps a little!

Thanks for the replies, there where quite a few of us there who either hadn't been before or like me had only been once or twice before, and living locally it's very handy, so at least I know a few more names for next time which is good.

C9/89, yes I am trying to fit some brake duct piping from where the fog lights used to be, just in case those 8 pot front callipers get worked a little too hard on track :-) I don't like fade!!

Roof was off, sun was shining, ZZ Top on CD player, V8 pulling like a train, only found out about handbrake at the M'way junction when the smell of toasted pads wafted over the car!
Absolutely looking forward to scratching around under the car, taking the discs and calipers off the diff (sic)
What about you, not set your sights on a new plaything yet?

See what happens when you listen to ZZ Top!

My thinking is to stay firm until the new AC Ace comes out at the back end of this year/early next… (have been following the Kimber Project quite closely). Besides, I came home with a lovely collection of flys, bugs, wasps, etc etc and have become quite attached!!!

On my list of things to do this year are Anglesea, Oulton and the Ring (again) but am fast running out of months and being typically female – keep changing my mind.

Hopefully you will have those 4-pot c’s to put on at the weekend – nice weather for it.

Thanks Alec. Seems quite a few are local like myself so it's worth trying to work out who is who.

Hopefully I'll remember earlier next time so I can come for the drive as well.:-)
