If it was a turquoise blue car with an Aero then it was definitely me. Thanks for ther comment on ther car.
Apparently there is a PH meet at the Bottle and Glass tonight (July 19th????). Can't make it myself but Danny from Billinge should be there in his red aero'd westy. Is it a regular meeting place for P Headers?

Danny and myself were toying with having a monthly meet at the Wheatsheaf (A bit further down the Rainford Bypass ) perhaps on Last weds or Thurs of the month?
Going to post it up on the westfield site as there's a good few of us local to the area. We could make it a combined WSCC/Pistonheads meet?
Your views please...And what do you all drive?

I've just read the rest of this thread before my posting(I should learn not to speed read.)Are we going to call this a regular monthly meeting point then?
Still going to organise a monthly meet for local Westfields/Se7ens at the Wheatsheaf on the Last Weds or Thurs of the month and would like to open that up to the PH people too

Tom here.

I'll jack it up and have a look underneath tomorrow, no idea what it is but, it shouldn't be too hard to sort out.

It was really good listening to your car popping and banging from two cars back!

Great to meet you all and give the wedge an airing.
Next time i will have more time and stay longer but nice to meet some local petrol heads.
I must get my brakes looked at before the next one - the smell was awful after following the westie for a few miles.
We need more V8's now i reckon.

Hi chaps and chapesses (spell check). As said above great run out and nice to meet you all. Took a couple of pics so hope I can upload them ok !

Tom I’m sure your car will be fine, just a touch of brake fade from your heavy right foot. Better let Katie drive next time, lol.

Roll on the next one.

Cheers
Paul

Yet another who missed you all...

Arrived at 8.15 due to the missus doing her hair and pratting about over what to wear.

Would be good if it was a regular event as the more meets the better.

Oh and you would have had another V8 if I had made it in time

Next Thursday you could all drop in at The Wheatsheaf (On the Rainford bypass).
7.30 pm onwards a new meeting mainly aimed at local/regional westfields....But you're all more than welcome to boost the numbers. We've even got our own room if it gets busy

Thanks for the invite boghouse but I doubt we'll make it as we are heading down south for the weekend and no doubt will be unprepared come thurs night. Having said that if I have pulled my finger out and prepared early I'll definately pop down and see you all. Just try not to embarass my barge when you get on the twisty bits

As to leaving the missus at home John I'm afraid it's not an option. I didn't have the money to buy it but for a generous loan from er indoors and as a result she normally wants to be in the passenger seat.
She is still unhappy I didn't get a Boxter as the Chimp is "too loud" but I have got her some earplugs from work so the way I see it we're all sorted now

While your Cacophanous Convoy was out on the track, we had a great tyre kick with your mates. Some real good fellas there. Hope to see you next month
