Hi, am very intersted in this drive out. Was thinking of going to the Cat and Fiddle etc on this day, so just trying to decide whether to meet you there, or get to Chesterfield start first then come back etc.

Maz, if you are still going, I know the Cat and Fiddle area and some of the roads to Chesterfield a little, and will be setting out from WA10, so please feel free to join me.

Burnie, could you please PM me a rough idea of the route, so I can work out where I am best joining you, for example if the Cat and Fiddle area is towards the end I'd better get to start etc. Went for a great drive around here a few weeks ago with local club, A54 Congleton to join Cat 'n' Fiddle, Castleton etc. Some great roads.

Cheers Scottie but I am now unable to make this, hope you all hvae a good day

Is that a really big Mini or a tiny trailer?

Can't believe I got my phone out and posted that message above as I fell into my hotel rolleyes Sobriety was but a distant memory.

A more lucid thanks to Burnie for organising and echo the sentiments about the weather. I got drenched taking piccies Processing them now - I might have a chance to get some done before I go out again (all go here) but no guarantees.

Thank you Burnie for such a good day. Trying to keep up with the Maser and watching it snap sideways with wheelspin in what must have been 2nd was brilliant.

Cheers guys and guyettes

Quiet, you

UncleDave, that's actually a crop - original is :

Knew I wanted the aerial and the cars but couldn't be arsed faffing about in that howling wind and rain trying to get it right, so took a wider shot to crop later

Hi, I have only been to a small number of NW meets before, but I very much enjoyed seeing all the cars in the Cat n Fiddle Car Park. I only got to speak to 1 or 2 people, as the weather didn't help otherwise I'd have been happily looking around all the cars.

Mine was the late shape Dark Blue 200sx, it can be seen next to a Yellow Exige in the photo's, T348. Felt a bit out of place with all that expensive metal, as I have tried to leave the 200sx subtle despite preparing it for trackdays, although it was recently mapped to about 315bhp now I've got 555cc injectors.

I don't live too far from there, so hopefully will get chance to see so many great cars again soon, hopefully on a much better day.

P.S. Whoever was the guy taking pictures of the convoy about 1/2 after we left the Cat n Fiddle, in a S2000 I think, if you got one of me, please let me know. I was behind that lovely White Porsche 911 Turbo.
