No problem - you obviously feel I am too expensive for a normal booking...
Please keep in mind paintwork defection is a time consuming job that takes on average EIGHT hours to complete correctly
I can modify any plan to meet your budget requirements.
Currently booked up for January... now taking bookings for February.
Cheers

Thank you Howard.
I have had big issues with my mobile phone that have now been sorted but looks like I lost some business because of it... nevermind

I have been looking forward to this one all week.... the customer popped over to see me last week for a pre-assessment and a chat about what could be done to his vehicle...
The paintwork had certainly seen better days and was in a very poor state... unfortunately there was poor paintwork over the whole rear of the car and the roof as well as the bonnet and the OS front wing. I spotted sanding marks under the paintwork and due to the PTG readings I had to be very careful with what I was doing...
Customer turned up at around 9am after a late night  - was supposed to turn up at 8am but it was no problem as I had a golf in for basic detail the same day that we got started on....
A couple pictures of the evidence...
50:50 shot:
I also took a few pictures of my detailing bay that I work from :thumb:

I had two customers over yesterday for some detailing work
Blue S14a needed a full deswirl with interior treatment
MR2 needed a basic detail (non-deswirl)
Pre-Assessments of both cars resulted in my assistant getting stitched up with the oxidised 'pink' MR2 to detail :wack:
A few pics of the day...
Thanks for looking :thumb:

A tough job this that involved a four hour round trip but we couldnt have asked for a better host with plenty of coffee and lunch supplied
Arrived 9am on the dot at Bob's house and didnt waste anytime in getting stuck in and inspecting the car...
Straight away I am a little cautious as the paintwork doesnt 'look' right to me so out comes the digital PTG and confirms that the car has seen some paintwork - not a problem as its been done well but it meant I couldnt go too mad with paint correction ...
Customer asked for the 'premier detail' that we do and also wanted the best wax I could provide - cost not being an issue at all... (I just love customers like that  )
So on with the premier detail process:
Pre-Soak vehicle exterior
Soak vehicle engine bay with degreasant
Spray degreasant inside wheel arches, sills, door shuts
Spray bug squash on front bumper and around bottom of vehicle
Wash vehicle exterior using two bucket methods and plush Euros wash mitts
Dry car using microfibre drying towels
Clay Bar vehicle exterior using detailing clay and quick detailer
Apply dressing to engine bay
Wheels washed
Wheels sealed
Tyres dressed
Take readings of all car panels using a digital paint thickness tester (PTG) to establish paint correction methods
Using rotary polisher / PC7424 start off with a light swirl remover changing pads / product as required to create a blemish free finish
Apply Swissol Cleaning Fluid to prepare paintwork for Wax
Dress Tyres
Dress all exterior plastics
Dress wheel arches
Hoover all seats / carpets / boot compartment
Wash Mats
Clean all plastics
Shampoo and condition leather
Clean all glass interior / exterior
Polish all glass
Clean and polish exhaust tips
Wax by hand with Swissol Best of Show Wax
A few pictures of the finished job (taken by customer as I had forgotten my camera!)
The whole job took around ten hours in total... it was a long day [j28]
