Love it. Absolutely love it. One of those is my dream car (yes I know it should be a Zonda or something but it isn't).

Hi all

Newbie here. This is my 05 Mustang GT. It's been modified by Litchfield (the Impreza people) to 370 BHP by fitting a CAI and doing a re-map. It's also got shocks, springs and roll bars by Roush (who run a few NASCAR teams for those that don't know) which soon got rid of that squishy US feel. It also now sits a few inches lower than in the photos below. Back boxes have gone and been replaced by straight pipes which means you can really hear that V8.

500 BHP supercharger next on the list.

Anyhoo, hopefuly see some of you at a few meets - assume yanks are welcome!! (the car, not me)

Well, you didn't say "Pics of your nice/fast/cool car", did you?

driving

It does go surprisingly fast, downhill with a tail wind... not a bloody bad first car at all, really.

Heah, if we're including landys then -

Great fun for green laneing but p!sses water in from every angle, hence it stinks to high heaven. So much so my wife complains every time I come home after a trip out in it saying I stink!
Think its time to get rid........... and buy another elan in its place!

Bet that Lambo dwindles the bank account at service time? Nice though!

Thats the beautys of Landrovers, though. Leaks water in and oil out.

Madam pointed out, that the only thing the Lotus offers over the Landy is performance and handling. They both leak in water, noisy and the inside is rather basic.

Dico: where abouts do you green lane?

Have to agree with the leaking oil out comment.

The pics were taken at a place called Ogden, in Shaw near Oldham.
To be honest I don't get out often enough, the Lotus usualy gets 1st choice.

TBH I'd rather have a Lada, than a Lincoln.

My sister tried to run a Lincoln Continental, with the 7.0 V8 in London, back in the early 90s.

She took it back, as 'there must be a hole in the fuel tank...'
