Didn't realise people had been pulled up! But I was at the back of the convoy. Part of the Elise contingent (mine was the blue elise that DIDN'T get hit by the pheasant and had the roof on). We got separated by the traffic lights in Macc and didn't see the rest of you until we were on the way to Leek.

Really enjoyed the run out - as I say didn't really see many of you lot - but we were having great fun at the back. OMG the run after the C&F pub was great though I did bottom my car on one of the dips

Left straight from the pub so hope you all got back safely. (not sure where you were off to but you seem to double back on yourselves ?)

Some great looking/sounding cars - sorry I didn't talk to many of you - but it was cold.

See you on the next sunny day - thanks for arranging it all!

Your mini convoy looked cool cool when you passed us on the road down to Leek. We were on a magical mystery tour on a glorious bit of road.

Cheers - you were the noisy devil in the black TVR then?

Great sounding and looking car. You were 3 cars infront of me when we were going through Leek and all I could hear was this engine above the sound of my stereo ! I was looking round to see who the hooligan was and I've decided it must have been you

See you on the next outing.

Nah - these are the pictures that you really want to see

Pheasant 1. Lotus 0.

I would have put up mucho pictures of the pretty cars - but the pheasant was much more fun.

I had a good laff, too. Had a maroon motorcycle follow me up the hill out of Macc. Yes. THAT one.

He went away after a while and I stopped in a lay-by to get some space - then had a great hoon up the hill to catch up with the gang.

Then went back and let my sister have a pop at it.

Glorious day.

Some pics:

I've got 12 cars in exactly the same pose as these. Let me know if you think you might be one of them. I should have been fairly obvious.

Well hello all, thought I had better sign up and say thanks for a great day out

Mine was the Zircon Blue mk2 NA MR2, some lovely cars about, fantastic weather and great routes. Seems that I might need a new rear shock as the drivers side back end seemed to constantly be scuffing over those bumps! Fun fun!

Look forward to seeing you all in the future!

If you have one on me (white mk1 mr2) could you send me it please?

Your car sounded ace! Think I followed you for a little while

Fantastic day

Had a little detour and ended up going most of the way to Buxton in the morning as I hadn't got a clue where everyone was going, just saw them turning off in my rear view mirror once I'd gone past the junction... Had fun trying to catch up without really knowing where I was heading for, but by some coincidence managed to end up at the right place come lunch time

Followed some MR2s and a Westy in the afternoon, don't think my barge is really built for those kind of corners but quite a laugh all the same.

Sorry. No other Mk1s.

Didn't take any when you were behind as I was driving.

first thing, i want to say a big thankyou too everyone who came. wasnt expecting the turnout i got and had some fantastic blasts during the day.

second thing, i just want too apoligise to everyone for the way it ended. after the masses of traffic and police on the cat and fiddle i decided to change the route. there was confusion as too where we were going i think and we all got split up.

the run down from chesterfield was fantastic and so was the passenger ride in the rs200 (thanks alot for that dude, what a mental machine)

now the weather is coming out so are the traffic and police so have decided to completely change the route for the next one.

we wont be hitting the cat and fiddle at all, instead using the winking man as a base and hitting the many fantastic roads branching off from it. i also plan on doing full directions with a good map. this way hopefully people wont get lost and if they do they can head back too the pub and meet up there.

any thoughts/input would be great. also ill be doing a test run to sort the route out on the 15th april midday ish (out the night before)

kind regards

alex.
