Top job anyways! I think everyone enjoyed the day whether they were lost, pulled, bird killing etc! lol

Good idea to have a central base with runs out, that way peeps can jump in as passengers for stretches and stuff too.

Can't do the recce as I'll be on holiday, but it's got to include that section when we left the winking man at the back of the pub, that was fantastic!

Not much to say that others haven't already said. It was a top day out. Not everything went quite to plan, but you can't complain at a chance to see the stunning machinery people were driving and have a few nice blasts

To the owner of the pheasant-killing Elise, I really am sorry for laughing when I saw it, I'd be properly miffed if it had happened to my car, but it really did look hilarious. Sorry

madbadger, could you post the photo of my car (Cappuccino) if you got one?

Thanks for organising it, Alex!

I've got 12 cars in exactly the same pose as these. Let me know if you think you might be one of them. I should have been fairly obvious.

Ha yes I remember, I think I tried to wave then suddenly remembered I should be trying to look cool instead paperbag hehe

priceless! clap

At least I didnt crash into the cameraman!

Just remembered also, does anyone know if the broken down red Mk1 was OK in the end? (the one at the Stoke meet)

I think it's immobiliser had a strop and immobilised it :P Last I knew someone was coming to tow it away, assuming it hadn't decided to go again by the time they got there.

Hopefully it shouldn't be too tricky to sort out

My getting lost in the morning was mainly my fault for not following a little red Cappuccino when it darted off down a single track path in front of me... I was too busy thinking 'why on earth has he gone down there' and then 'is that even a ROAD?'. Missed the main turning back towards Congleton too, where everyone disappeared behind me. No danger of getting properly lost, just didn't know where everybody else had gone

I think trying to really organise that many cars must be a complete nightmare... A central hub sounds like a good idea, either that or a couple of 'meeting points' that people can head for if they get split off. Anyway a great day and thanks for organising it Alex

That would be me I assumed you were going up to the "proper" turn off :P

Yeah was Ian, he got it sorted when he got back to Stoke, he'd been fiddling with something and accidently loosened a wire

If you have any pics of the Blue 200sx I'd love to see them, especially as it had it's quarterly hand wash the night before :-)

Yeah blame gibbo for the camera work although that road was well bumpy.

Crackin day out, all beautiful cars. Camera broke for most of the run but did manage to dry it out on the engine lid at the winking man so got a little footage, just not of everyone. I'll put it up as soon as i pull the rest off camera.

Aplogies to the guy in the 200sx... Think you might of had a little scare when i locked it up, I kept saying to my mate, he's gonna batter me when we pull over. Thankfully you didnt

Great day as usual and a big thanks to alex for organising it all again.

Great to see you all

LOL, that give way appeared without a lot of warning, and we where going quick quick to try and catch up with another car who knew the route, I had to brake very firmly myself, and when I checked my mirror I saw a cloud of tyre smoke heading towards me so I just pulled over to the left partly onto the chevrons to give you a bit more room to stop in case you wanted to let off the brakes and re-apply them!!
