Just an idea but what about an early(ish) start at the Trafford Centre, off to the Romper for a swift scoop and a pie and then perchance to see those magnificent men (and women) in their machines at Tatton? Ages since I've been here but I see nothing has changed! wobble

Flash.

One of them asked me if I wanted 'Salt' on my bacon sarnie the other day. It was only until he started waving a bottle of HP in my face that I realised he was saying 'Sauce'. It just sounded like he had a cock in his mouth at the time.

Bloody southerners.

Ugh, I can't make this now. I started what should've been a few hour job of removing the air-con from the Cappuccino at about 12:30 today. Currently the front bumper is in the kitchen, the airbox, intercooler, most of the air piping, slam panel, air bypass valve and assorted sundries are sat near the front door, and the air con compressor and radiator are still in the fricking car!

Everything's gone wrong today, mostly due to stripped threads, shearing bolts and no 12mm spanner. It's going to be a long weekend!

Right then chaps, whats happening with this tomorrow?

Im meeting MBH at 9am, ( yikes ) , so we should be over Manchester way about 10:30. Whats the plan?
Looks like a pretty poor turnout this time......scratchchin

I've decided to give it a miss and to head straight over to Tatton Park....driving

Looks like a zero turn out to me. Tatton is well worth a visit though there will be loads of TVR's there along with other fine classics..... oh and the Ferrari replica club wink Bit late now but could always meet up for a beer at Tatton.

Is no-one going to meet at the TC first? It would be nice to meet up, rather than just going there on our own I reckon.

I'm dropping out too. Cousin up from London so we're off for lunch instead. (Unless you'll all still be around after 3ish?)

Frazer and Tao and I trundled across the hills from Sheffield to the Romper, then on to Tatton Park after Frazer got us chucked out of the Romper....hehe

After another gentle trundle through the tunnels, that is....

A certain 911 Turbo did an excellent impression of a banshee with a wasp up its arse through the tunnels, and I'm just off to the telly to see if he rattled any planes off the runway...I'm sure he did (sorry, didn't catch your name)

Didn't spot many at Tatton...did anybody go?

rofl...And what do you think it was like following you?

I'm pretty sure the tiles were falling off the tunnel roof....

Glorious racket, well done, Graham...

Combover and I (along with Kitty Kat) did a bit of tunnel running with my Larini equipped MX-5 and Combover in a '68 TR5.

The look on people's faces when they'd been overtaken by a thundering classic was pricesless hehe

Just a pity about the ambulance "on a shout" slowing us down on the way back...
True...it just seemed wrong to pass it when it was pulling 70 over Rushup Edge...hehe Then I thought that bike behind you might have been an unmarked plod...

Now I know ambulances have to come all the way from Buxton, I will mostly be not be breaking my leg in Castleton...
