I've seen an unmarked white X5
That is a driving school vehicle ... Not operational, usually to be seen thundering South on M66 about 3pm with grill blues on. The unmarked x5's in Manchester are all ARV's

AaRdVark.No, I'm joking - Armed Response Vehicle - I think!
Funny thing is at first I just saw what I thought were dodgy scallies stood outside their fancy cars looking at each other's mobile phones - I beeped my horn to get their attention. They indicated I should drive down the road and go the long way around but I though don't be fking cheeky and started to squeeze past - it's then I realised the driver standing behind what I then realised was thew BMW dog car was in uniform and didn't look too impressed - thing is they were just pissing around while blocking the Queen's highway so I don't think they could say much.
Shame I didn't have my new dash cam on.

The wife informed me she spotted an unmarked police car in Bury this afternoon, when questioned what it was the best I got was 'a turquoise 4x4'. I think, from the description it was a Mitsubishi Outlander or similar.
Yeah sounds like the same one I saw on Manchester Road heading towards Bury town centre. Was a bit difficult to work out what it was but I think it was an Mitsubishi ASX. Can't be certain though aspirated said:
Strange one in Eastlands near the City ground today, black 2009 X5 originally registered in London, think the plate began with LR09 or LS09, would never have guessed if it wasn't for the blues and twos
I think the police use Alan Turing Way for training new drivers to drive under blue light conditions, I guess it's probably because it's a long straight road. I've seen it a couple of times on there, they go up and down a few times on the blue lights and sirens so could possibly have been that jk888 said:
