Unmarked BiB Spotted ?
Discussion
There was one of the "hard working, socially and community minded” members of the local constabulary, hiding almost in a bush along Pensby Road, Wirral last night.
Dark jacket, no car (he had a pushbike, which will be effective if a stolen car screams past!) standing at a bus stop, with a laser speed detector . . . . . I expect if challenged somebody would claim it was for safety reasons and not just a pathetic attempt to increase revenue / achieve targets.

Haha, thats why it stuck in my mind, I couldn't believe it when I saw it!
It doesn't show on the taxdisc check so maybe I got the start of the plate wrong but it was definitely a Preston plate.
I've seen a few unmarked BMW's up around J29 of the M6 (Preston), all starting PN It doesn't show on the taxdisc check so maybe I got the start of the plate wrong but it was definitely a Preston plate.

You will probably find that his donut eating colleagues were probably parked further up the road ready to intercept any baddies. ETA also spotted a plain white S80 (IIRC all these big Volvo saloons look the same to me!) on the return leg with just two small red POLICE stickers on the upper part or the rear bumper. Saw it pottering in the middle lane while making progress southbound north of Charnock Richard, backed off when I spotted it and shortly after it charged off in search of other prey I guess.

If they have the small stickers on the back they are training cars and not out on the pull, if you catch my drift.rufusruffcutt said:
Had a good look at the black Mondeo TDI (MU09 TUJ) attending the shunt on the A535 / Bomish Lane junction by Jodrell Bank last night. Completely stock looking with all the lights very well hidden, looks just like any other Mondeo doing the daily hack.
I've seen him a few times, and always on that Jodrell road. Shame really as its my route to and from various things Strange spot last night in Congleton (in the bus stop by the former Richardsons motorbike shop) black Volvo V50 estate -diesel I think- with a magnetic double blue flashing light on the roof (which was switched on hence the spot), roughly where the leading edge of a sunroof would be. Nothing in the grill or rear boot area flashing.
My first thought was it was a Doctor on an emergency call, however I thought these had to be a green flashing light? Anyone the wiser on this?
The guy in the driving seat was in plain clothes if it was the BIB and he hadn't tugged anybody.
