Well that's quite a hard line to draw, don't you think? Surely "Rare" would depend on where you live and what you see day-to-day.
I have never seen an 08 M3 Convertible. Does that make it rare? I have seen plenty of TVRs. Does that make them common?
If you live in Alderley, then a GT3 RS is an everyday sight, and nothing to write home about. Same with any Ferrari or Lambo.
People have different definitions of rare, would you not agree?

i live a few doors away from lord speakman, so therefore lamborghini diablos,gallardo spiders,ferrari f355,360 and 550, and hummers is not rare, but to others thats a rare sight, as was mentioned,all depends where you live, working off this principle,iv never seen a new m3

Sorry hit a nerve, I guess the comments about where you live are totally valid. I see a Ferrari SuperAmerica nearly everyday (probably one of the rarest cars around) along with Audi R8s and a new Maserati Gran Tourismo and I've seen a new BMW M3 convertible several times as well.
