I won't disclose the exact location because it's right outside the guy's gates! hehe He was happy to have a short chat and a few photos though, apparently he hasn't got to use it much lately. I first saw it in Wilmslow, so it's just a matter of being lucky while it's out I think.

Its an MEV Rocket, a mid engined kit car using a focus as a doner car. If its standard it can have anything from a 1.6-2 litre zetec engine.... Obviously some people put in 250bhp+ Duratec engines in, its all down to the builder and their budget/skills!

Nice kits though, but i cant help thinking the sonic7 is a better looking vehicle... (same chassis, but with a full body instead of exposed space frame)

Stuart Mills (MEV- Mills Extreme Vehicles), the owner and designer of all vehicles MEV produce is a frequent poster in the kit car section on PH, he's a really nice guy!

I can't believe the amount of times I'm just out of shot in these hehe Must have been right next to you countless times. The Performante looks the same - LJ62 DFO? X1 UKF Superleggera is that one again, plate has changed from V10 HRO. The gun metal Merc is the new SL.

I think that was the plate yes. You will have been near us a few times, I dragged my dad (and Mum and cousin and her boyfriend!) up and down Wilmslow loads of times. In fact my dad reckons we could've met most of PH if I'd stopped looking at cars for a minute.
He should be pleased I want to be around him with that curly moustache!
It was a good day though, the show was great, but some of the cars just driving around were good to see.

Nice to meet you on the day Abarth Boy. Would have taken you for a little spin in the GTR but I had the dog with me in the passenger seat

Maybe next time.

He's off in bed now, but I can tell you he was chuffed to bits to chat with you. I must apologise for him collaring you while you were in traffic, I was in the chocolatiers place getting drinks for the family!
The shout "I just met S99ANE!" was a bit unexpected I must say!

Also, I took a shot of your GTR in Alderley Edge, you probably saw me, you went up and then back down. biggrin

Didn't initially upload the picture due to it being blurred like mad, but here it is.

Oh damn and blast, missed the Koenigsegg. It was still a truly epic day for supercars though - outside of the Motor Show we spotted 3 C63 Blacks (one a really nice PHer smile), couple of 599s, an SLR McLaren and some 12Cs, endless amounts of 458s/360s/355s, a truly insane amount of Astons, Performante (Above), Superleggera, few other Gallardos, Murcie, GT3RS and a load more around AE and Wilmslow - I'll put up some pictures when I get in
Hi Sam - looking forward to seeing your pictures from the day

No need to apologise was nice chatting with him, although it was only brief.

He seems like a nice lad and you should be very proud.
