they tend to have a 'fast car' test drive route and a 'normal car' test drive route smile

Around 12.30 today spotted a metallic turquise/blue-ish Triumph Spitfire convertible parked outside a house on Rainford rd in Ecceleston. I recall seeing the same car some time last year parked in the exact same spot; looked like someone's pride and joy as it looked immaculate from what I could see of it. A few moments later, spotted a red TVR Chimaera (with hood down) crusing along Rainford rd towards the Eccleston/Whiston area. Nice to see something like that out today with the weather being quite mild for late January.

Is it just me or is that Targa very, very ugly?
Alloys do nothing for it whatsoever. Looks much older than a 2014 model.

No, it's not just you. It looks like it's from 1975, not 2015.

I was in Mayfair on Monday and spotted James Stunt's entourage yikes

Not my picture, but you get the gist. All sporting SxUNT number plates.

I know it's not the North West but I CBA finding a South East spotted thread.

I parked in the ECP at Audley Square amongst all the Rollers and Bentleys from the Qatar Embassy. My car didn't fit in frown

I thought that was the idea of it, as a bit of a tribute to the original Targa? Some detals did look like a modern/retro mash-up, something different by 911 standards which is what I like about it.

I also saw the Vanrooyen (assuming) 2013 white/black GT3 at Gemini the other day, that did NOT look like it was from 1975 cool

I actually had no idea who he was until I googled him and found the article about his little outing.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2617914/At...

And based purely on nothing other than that article where it said that Bernie had a go at him, it sounds like his reg plates are one letter away from accurately describing him.

If I won the Euromillions, I'd definitely have a fleet of blacked out cars for trips with friends. Very cool. biggrin

I didn't know who he was either! My first guess was Russ Swift (S7UNT) but I was sure stunt-driving didn't pay that well!

Did it have black number plates? I've seen it a few times and it's actually a 2002 SL with a bodykit. A decent effort though.
