A few spots today:

Dark blue-ish AC Cobra around 12.30 today spotted coming off Queen St in Wigan (nr Go Outdoors) and headed under the railway bridge towards Wigan Northwestern station. Only saw it from a distance so didn't get any further details. Also spotted a dark red Aston Martin (possibly Vantage) heading along Saddle Junction away from the town centre past Wigan Pier; later spotted same car heading around Wigan Pier.

Spotted a 1950s Commer van heading along Bolton Rd, between Ashton and Stubshaw Cross, turning onto Bryn Rd South. Quite a rare spot indeed.

I hope I don’t get filmed going through there, judging by the coverage of this non-event it'd be worthy of the international news laugh And that camera car looks to be going way under 50mph to me (waiting for them when he heard them coming)

I've come through there a little quicker than them on the bike, in the kit car, and the (now sold) F10 M5 - this is not a news story. It's probably one of the best tunnels for exhaust noise around - and only 15 minutes from my house. Always makes for an enjoyable 45 minute Sunday evening loop.

Because of this film and news coverage probably will be best to stay away from the tunnels for a few weeks - i imagine the police might take an interest in it, or the local boy racers will.

The "camera car" was doing well below the speed limit, or has slowed, to allow them to overtake, and them to film it.

Red Enzo driving down Peter St in city centre at around half 3 today. Made the sweaty walk back to office following a meeting slightly more pleasant

I'm posting this here as I live in the north West, although the spot was over in the N.E., in the car park at Cragside house.

Don't know anything about the Alvis - apart from it's an Alvis..

There was also an off white/cream Morgan there, but didn't get a picture..

E.T.A. Driving back across to the N.W., somewhere around Stanhope, right in the middle of the Pennines, spotted a carbon fibre coloured Aventador! Stunning car, but seemed way out of it's normal habitat!

E.A.T.A. BTW, the Capri and the 911 were both immaculate, almost better than new condition.

A bucketful of lovely motors were at my local the other evening. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of them all, but highlights were the owners' Veyron and Bentley, a couple of TVR's and Ferrari's, this pair of Lambo's and a rather lovely old Cosworth.

Those Aventadors posted above... cloud9

Ferrari F430 in Audenshaw about an hour ago, white DB9 in Manchester city centre last night and a red Bentley Continental GT with the worst wheels I've seen for a long time.

You got a photo of the Aventador but not of the Veyron? confused

The two pictures posted could have been the best quality ones? The owners Veyron has been in the thread before, as has his sons SLR.

Yes yes, I know and I'm sorry paperbag I knew as soon as I posted those 2 pics, I'd get some flak! I'm afraid those 2 were the only pics I took, as I didn't want to look too much in awe given the owner was sat not too far away from it.

Fane's right, it's been mentioned a few times on here, and is one of Billy Igoe's stable of fine motors. Next time I see it at the Fox & Hounds, I'll try to take a decent snap of it. He had at least 3 cars there that evening, the black left-hooker Veyron, a silver Continental convertible and a white Ferrari (I think it was a 458 Spider)...

Nice shots, but far too big for my bandwidth so I'll have to wait until this thread turns another page.
