my first meet on pistonheads and i thought it was excellent! really well organised and a lovely enviroment to be in.
will upload my pictures later on!
would be happy for this to be a monthly thing, and the fact that its only a couple of quid makes it all the more better!

Hi, thanks for all that organised this, was a good morning out.

Enjoyed following snapper back down those country roads as well, shame there was so much traffic about :-)

The venue was good, nice to have somewhere inside to go as well and bacon barms.

The only possibly better venue I can think of is Oulton Park, on a trackday. If you think about it, it's open from 8am on a Saturday morning, easy to get to, plus if we time it right there will be a track day to watch, a drift day/rally day on the rally circuit and there is a huge indoor and warm canteen.

There is also a HUGE area to park on the tarmac at Oulton.

Oulton quite often let you do a taster session as well for £25 for 20 mins on the track, so anyone inclined to try it could do. I just thought OP would give us all some action to watch and make the event last longer come the warm summeer weather :-)

I go to Oulton quite a bit to watch in the nice weather Saturdays. It's only about £12 on a race day and the club level racing is fantastic, you get about 12 races 20 or 30 mins each in a day, everything from Caterham races to modern and old saloons, open wheelers etc, just take a fold out chair and you are free to wander around the great viewing area's and paddock etc.

Great way to sit in the sun and watch live sport :-)

On a trackday entrance is free to, so any money collected is all for charity!!

Didn't think we would be able to make the meet today so didn't, add my name to the list.
It was that last minute we were able to come, i didn't even get chance to wash the car first (poor excuse i know).
Had a great morning, top venue, good food at a great price and money to charity aswell.
Well done to all who organised this and lets hope it's the start of a regular meet.
The guy with the RS200 conversion is Trevor, and he makes these aswell as Eleanor copy's to.
Lawrence, sorry i didn't get chance to speak to you today, hopefully next time.

Guys - some decent feedback - so thanks. I have got a little idea for the next one - not a million miles for the Oulton idea - let me speak to 'a man' on PH first before saying anything else.

I took this on as 2 of my mates were keen to get something sorted - one being a fireman who had to work last night and thus couldn't make it today, the other being someone who due to divorce has lost his car 'mojo' a bit of late - so couldn't really be bothered. But was a pleasure to sort out.

Will admit - up until 10.30am ish i was panicking about parking. I had it all set in my head that we'd park 4 to a caravan slab - but you chose to do it in 2's! And also had it in my head that we'd park at the front car park in cross ways rather than length ways. Hey ho though - seemed to work - and nobody seemed to struggle for a space - as far as i saw anyway!

Next time - will get some hi-viz gear (had some in the car today but wouldn't felt silly!) and will get some signage made up too.

Our furthest visitor today came from?

Any guesses?

Sod it, i'll tell ya - Holland! The guy in the Exige lives in Holland but was visiting parents nearby and saw some interesting cars coming in so followed on.

Big thankyou to Sider for sorting this out, top man!

It was a great little meet and I would be happy if it was to become a regular event, great turnout all round from everyone.

The convoy from Tickle Trout was great fun too.
