I'm not really sure what I'm looking for but this came up.

Although it was a joke by the way, I take it you don't like people having a dig at Bolton..

my missus is from bolton, and it does deserve its reputation. That house is probably worth about £35k. There are plenty of other towns in the same 'boat' though.

I don't think anyone is envious, we all have our own home towns, and those home towns have good and bad parts. Just because a town happens to have a nice suburb doesn't say anything about the town overall. I've been to Bolton a lot, and I've never seen these areas which are being posted... i've only ever seen the other bits. I'm from Glasgow ffs.

that wasn't a backtrack, i was saying just because there is a nice suburb of a town does not mean the rest isn't crappy. It's up to me what I think of your town as much as it up to you what you think of 'mine' (however I don't have just one). I have visited Bolton many times, so it isn't like I am being judgemental without experience. Anyway - back on thread.

One has travelled to Glasgow on numrous occasions one has seen and experienced first hand the problems that have been highlighted on documentries/programes associated with such a city. That said one keeps their opinion to oneself as to your search on Rightmove that beggars belief all one had to do is to optomise the search and hey presto the answer would be staring in ones face, personally you being in the IT buisness it seems to appear that ones neither recourceful or efficiant in your line of work.
There is an old proviable saying 'people who live in glass houses etc' just food for thought before you pass judgement
Now lets get back on topic and have a good day!

you appear to be trying to make it personal. My comments were about a town, not you personally.

back on topic.

Perhaps one should do a little research before making inaccurate comments

Which comment did I make that was inaccurate..?

And why have you started using "One" in every sentence since you got your knickers in a twist?

As I said it was a joke, really not too sure why you are so touchy about Bolton, chill your bean. smile

Popped over to Media City in Salford this week as I've always wanted to do a little photoshoot there. Was going alright until a security guy came and told me that I need a permit to use Media City as a background for photos! irked

Ah well!

I was always lead to believe you can take photo's in any public place. Is Media City private.
