Did anyone get any video footage?
Garrett got clip of a porsche and a tvr arriving, shame the sound doesn't do justice to the engine noise though!Edited by Jim Diesel on Sunday 28th February 22:34
I saw those 2 leave together - looked like brothers!

We aren't brothers as suggested above, I think Tony might be offended if he thought he looked like me! lol!
We really enjoyed the meet and the drive back through Blackpool and the Lakes.
Hopefully see you all again soon!

Does anyone know this guy? Was this a proper Alpina?? Was absolutely immaculate!
It's my car, no I wasn't picking my nose (thanks) and no it isn't a real Alpina which is just as well really as if it was it would be so rare that I'd be scared to use it. All the Alpina badges will be coming off it when it gets re-sprayed which will be some time after I've finished building a new engine which will have lots of forged bits in it, due to the fact that I'm self employed the engine will be finished some time after the current recession. Does anyone know this guy? Was this a proper Alpina?? Was absolutely immaculate!

Haha! It's not like it's common now!!
It's a lovely car - rare or not!
Hmmm you have a point there. But, back in the seventies Alpina was a tuning company, you took your car to them and told them what spec you wanted and went back a few weeks, days, whatever later and picked your car up. I've never even heard of (dangerous thing so say on the internet cos someone will prove me wrong now) a right hand drive one which I imagine is due to the process involved in having the conversion done at the time.Haha! It's not like it's common now!!
