Hmmm, yes, what about around easter time? Usually the weather is good enough around then to attract the summertime cars too (for those who dont like them out in winter!). There is the BGT and F3 over the bank holiday weekend at Oulton then though as well.

Drove past the venue just the other day and with the 'duelling banjo's' tune in my head wondered if there would be another.

Let me know when you sort the details or if you wish to avoid one of our monthly dates, the preston supercar meet could attend.
We always meet on the "second-to-last Sunday" of every month.

Yep. Interesting sums up the place well. But it was a very good meet. I'm thinking it was the first time we met you and Molly.

I think you're right, it was. The start of some good trips out.

Agree re the 'interesting' comment. I didn't choose it because of it's theme!

I like it though.

Benefits of it are:

1. Fair bit of decent parking - i.e. not all on grass where we'd get stuck in bad weather.
2. Food and drink - however strong you want it - available.
3. Fairly coastal location - so if the weather's good and you've got the kids, get down for a play on the beach in Lytham or Blackpool.
4. Convoys - can be a good point for a convoy gathering together before blasting up the Golden mile.

Perhaps we should all go dressed as cowboys and cowgirls next time?

Was it a full-on RS200 that one??

I know there is a Subaru Impreza RS200 kit-car in the Fylde area.

It was a replica I believe, the guy who had it sold the kits IIRC smile

I'd be up for another meet here. One of the surrealest places I've ever been. Felt like I was on drugs. Great cars, in a wild west town, in Lancashire confused

I'll iron my chaps ready for the next one...

Where abouts will the details of the next meet be? Might be fun to bring down the metro and have a wander round some of the nice cars that are in some of the pics!

In all fairness, the venue was pretty good from a practical point of view. As said, lots of fairly well surfaced parking and food and drink available.

As Adz mentioned, the run down the M6/M55 and a bit of Wrea Green was a bit of a hoot from our Tickled Trout muster point. 'Course our 'Point Man' was Snapper8V and you just know the pace will be lively if he's in the lead!...

Probably on here.

Metro's welcome - be it an MG, 6R4, GTA or even a City. i suppose any that are left are classics now!

And you may as well turn your radio off because you wont be able to hear it.
