The tripadvisor reviews aren't brilliant. Have you visited recently Phil?

I've been a few times.

It's just your average place like The Winger. I guess at very busy times the service could lack somewhat, but I avoid going to these places at those times.

For what we will be using it for, it's perfect!

Edited*

Just read some of the reviews Richard and I was right, the bad reviews are after a busy day full of kids etc.. so the place becomes messy and the staff can't keep on top.

We'll be going as soon as the doors open so it'll be all clean and fresh :-)

No noisy kids, no rock n roll bingo etc ;-)

You missed a fantastic Breakfast Richard and those reviews were a million miles out...

In the mornings the place is run perfectly, in fact I have to say the service from the staff was the best I have experienced in a long time.

Both thumbs up for The Kingfisher on a Sunday Morning.

I might come to this at the weekend. Never been before - is there usually a good turnout?

Yep, there is always something interesting, along with the array of TVRs, Porsches and the odd Ferrari e.c.t.

Over the Winter months we tend to start the meet a little later between 10am - 10:30am, however I always aim to get there for 9am myself so that I can enjoy filling my stomach before the meet begins :-)

Anyone wishing to arrive from 9am onwards can do so, but the car park doesn't fill up until later on.

As always, everyone is welcome!

See you later this morning.

Hi Phil

How are the rocket launchers and flame throwers going hehe

Might come down in the wife's Jeep. It's a bit unusual and quite rare!

Great meet Phil. Lots of Astons there and other exotica.

Never did get round to talking rocket launchers - must discuss next time so that I can fit them to the side of the G Wagon hehe

Nice turnout again today. Never realised just how huge the G Wagon is in the metal! Made the Mustangs look dainty biglaugh

It makes most things look dainty, even vans hehe

Certainly gets attention wherever it goes as you done really see that many of them.

You really wouldn't want to bump into it.......would imagine a normal car would easily write itself off leaving probably only scratches on the G Wagon. To say it's built like a tank is an understatement

A few photos from Sunday morning. It got a fair bit busier after I took them... Counted over 45 cars which for a damp Sunday morning in January is great!
