Now the clocks have changed we can start the South Manchester Run again, it should be the second Tuesday of each month and next month we will go to that, but for this one it is the 19th April.

So the start and end is:
The Greyhound
Cow Lane
Ashley
WA15 0QR

Meet at 7pm for starting at 7.30pm.

Everyone's welcome – the run is between forty five mins to an hour long and the bar is lovely for a natter before or after. It is a set route that loops round to the Greyhound for the end. Tim the landlord is lovely, and looking forward to a few cars on a Tuesday.

Any questions please ask and if you are coming copy and paste the list below:

I'm a potential maybe. I need to get and fit a new alternator to the Lomax over easter. Sunset is at about 20:10 on that day, so i wouldn't risk it knowing we couldn't use the lights. If i can get it sorted, and the weather is good then yes. I'm not going to add my name to the list just yet because i just don't know....

Work in Trafford Park 2/3 days a week so may bring the ///M and have a blast on foreign soil.

Will let you know nearer the time.

OK, I have had an Epic Fail and been completely dumb in the process.

Took my car in early for MOT, so that I could fix the problems before it expiried. Looks like the whole car will have to go for spares, so not insurance to drive it on 19th.

Does anyone else want to lead? I can jump in the car and direct if you are willing?

I will standby volunteer but surely we should be lead by an Aston or something?? We don't want to look poor in front of the cyclists now do we.

I've blown my gearbox up so will most likely have to bow out. Sorry!

If I can make it I don't mind leading. I always like being near the front anyway.

Cheers buggalugs and jackwood that would be ace. I might have another car by then just making sure it can do the distance and will last a few years at the moment.

Ditto - if I make it, happy to have somebody steal my passenger's seat and tell me which hedges to aim for/dodge from the front. smile

I'm another maybe. All depending on me getting a few small jobs tended to on the MX5, not sure I'd fancy it in the 328 but it's a less decrepit backup!

I've always liked the CRX, i think they look really good. Bung a few piccies in the "show us your motor thread"!

Unfortunately I'm out for the 19th and i wont be able to make the next one either due to being at uni and having major deadlines around then. Hopefully i can make the June one though (fingers crossed).
