Sorry I didn't manage to get there much before it got dark as I din't get home until 7.30. Good to have a catch up though and hopefully, as the evenings get warmer and lighter we will get more attendees. As an aside, it is worth noting that it is good to have a pub where there is seating outside next to where the cars park. It seems to keep people outside and together more. Just a thought for future planning

Thanks for coming along tonight, Al. Great to meet up again. The TR sure picked-up many admiring looks and comments.
Thanks to everyone else who turned-up, as well.
Think things should grow nicely over the next few meets.
Agree completely with your comments about seating / cars. (That's why I initially went for the Square & Compass.) It's surprising, you'd think that choosing a suitable pub would be easy, but there doesn't seem to be a perfect choice.
I'll have a look again at the Bingley Arms. And David and Guy (Volvo Amazon) recommended a place on the main road near Pool. We can keep trying out a places until we find a place we all really like.

That will have been the Hunters I think. Known about it for thirty years, never actually visited it. Does have a nice big roadside car park though.

Hi Matt, That sounds like a nice pub, but we already have another monthly classic classic car gathering - a weekend one - at the Punch Bowl Inn, which is very close by, in Marton cum Grafton. The next one of these is on Sunday, 20th May at 4pm. If you'd like to join us, the full details here: http://www.meetup.com/classic-cars/events/61880582...The weekday evening ones, we always hold close to Leeds or Harrogate. The next one of these is Thursday May 10th, 7pm. At The Dexter pub, Wigton Lane, Leeds. Again, the full details are here: http://www.meetup.com/classic-cars/events/60255442...People don;t have to sign-up but it helps to know who is coming, for the sake of numbers. Regards, Mat

Any idea when/where the June meet is? I might pop across for an hour with my son if it doesn't clash with Le Mans. I'll park my modern hack in the corner out the way

Hi Andy,
Sorry, I've only just seen your post.
The date of the next meet is Thursday 6th June, 7pm.
I'm waiting for a venue to get back to me, so I'll know for sure where it's being held by this coming Friday. But in any event it will be either in Roundhay or Chapel Allerton, Leeds.
I'll post an update just as soon as I can.
Mat

If anyone fancies an early morning blast there should be one happening with a Harrogate start this Sunday, probably leaving there before 7am.

I'm interested, work permitting will plan to be there as it sounds fun. Odd as it seems I've be on PH for years and only just found the Yorkshire/Leeds forum! Please drop me a PM if anything changes. Adam

when is the next one? I live on shadwell lane so pretty close for me... I walked down but there is a car park round the back which had enough room when the majority arrived. Its next Thursday the next one, 4th of October meeting about 7pm.
