We normally have our monthly meeting at the Manor Golf Club in Driglington, Bradford
on the 3rd Sunday of the month (and all are welcome)

Unfortunately neither Deputy Simon (Batley Boy) nor I, can attend this month on the 21st
so we have decided instead to use the old PH haunt of the Railway Pub (BD11 1JJ)on WEDNESDAY 17th April

We will meet from about 7pm (while it is still light)and all Pistonheaders are welcome to join us
This is open to all petrolheads and not just TVR drivers

Just an opportunity to all get together and drive the cars and catch up with imminent TVR events

Hope you can join us

Cheers

Cheers Trickie, I would love to take you up on that.
You did let me have a sit in it a while ago at the autosolo at the Galpharm (or whatever the Town ground is called this week lol)

The wedge I am going to look it is only a 2.8 but apart from a lack of seats and carpets looks to be in really good nick so I am going to risk the wrath of my OH and go look at it biggrin

Remember just to check the chassis (especially the outriggers) and all the electrics if you can

I am a bit in 2 minds about the car,

Good Bits
the bodywork is in really good nick, roof lining, doorcards and dash look good (no cracking to the veneer), the original alloys are in good shape and the front half of the chassis has been relatively recently painted and looks in good shape, the back half of the chassis looks ok, a bit of surface crud but I couldnt really get a good look at it.

Bad bits

No battery so unable to start the engine and make sure it is ok and the seller has never run it
Not able to check the gearbox/brakes/suspension properly
Exhaust system missing from manifolds back
wiper arms missing
Water sat in battery tray
water sat in the space between drivers seat(if it was present) and the door possibly caused by the plastic trim between the door and the side window being missing.

Money pit or worth saving?

Probably a money pit - with so much taken to chance

I will have a discussion tomorrow if you want

Cheers
