I'd love some decent photos of mine! It's only an Impreza so doesn't quite match some of the metal being offered but if you're after the practice I'd be really grateful smile

Having a meet as suggested by Lewis is a really good idea for this too. I'd be well up for that.

In response to everyone, if we were to arrange a shoot I think it would have to be after Easter when I have more free time, but the weather will hopefully be more reliable then too!
Maybe someone who knows Sheffield could suggest a suitable location for a shoot then we could meet up there after Easter smile

If it's not wet and windy here is nice: http://goo.gl/maps/kPS05 Overlooking sheffield.

Also, Victoria Quays (just need to sweet talk Hilton into letting you in.)

Not the best view behind though ey! lol.

But yeah could work? Trying to think of somewhere more countrysideish which could be good....

The car park in front of Chatsworth house? Not the main one to the side, but the one in between the house & the river.

Victoria Quays would be awesome if we could get in!

Really like the idea of photographing several cars at once, then everyone can have a few pictures of their cars each too.

Think it would have to be one weekend in May for me, as I'm not back in Sheffield after Easter until first weekend of May.

A relatively large car park, preferably with no space markings, with a nice backdrop could make a nice location.

I could have a word with some of the guys in the Supercardriver club I'm in. You'd be amazed at what gems there are in Sheffield and the surrounding areas that you dont always get to see!

That is not a bad shout at all! can fit a fair few cars into a shot then too?

Haha all these supercars coming my 130i is going to look right crap! Maybe have a seperate pic for the supercars and a seperate one for the riff raff? Would still be good to have a sheffield meet either way though. Nice wee drive from the Norfolk arms up into the burbage valley, or can head up towards fox house and out that way pretty easily too.

Agreed, all very nice roads round there. I organise events for another car club and we used to have lunch at the Millstone in Hathersage then drive to the Norfolk Arms, all the roads are great round there, if you don't get stuck behind Arnold and Mavis out in the Micra banghead

Phil

I am Chris's dad (Lupo GTI) and will shortly be taking delivery of a 996 Turbo, so we could bring both cars along to any venue that you may decide to use in and around Sheffield, we'll just keep an eye on this thread but sometime after Easter sounds good.

I never expected to have so many responses to this thread after my post! I quite like the idea of doing a couple of group shots and then a few individual ones too.

Also, some evenings I walk past the multi story car park for the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, and with it being well lit and empty in the evenings it could make a nice location for a quick individual shoot one evening soon. Anyone like the sound of that?

That sounds like a nice idea for a photoshoot that I'd be keen to do sometime!

Are you going to pay the parking fees? It was about £1000 for five minutes last time I was there...hehe

Haha yeah I did check the price before suggesting it, apparently it's £2.40 for up to two hours!

What sort of angle are the slopes? My car isn't super low but I've never changed it in a multi-storey.
