Some good cars in York today. Dutch registered Tesla Model S being charged up at Union Terrace car park, Morgan Plus 8 from Andorra parked up at the Cedar Court Grand Hotel and a cool Matte Black G 63 AMG parked at the racecourse.

Saw a yellow 14 reg Lotus Evora on Bootham yesterday.

Did anyone see the chav'ed up SLR - I'm guessing it was a Brabus - around the moors today. The reg plate was 7 something SLR. It was parked in Helmsley and it looked an absolute shocker - truly awful looking thing. I was reminded of the Koenig's offerings of the 80s although they were at least of their time.

Saw that at the chequers last week.


Today saw a Green Chimeara on the A64 past Tad. Must have been the only key Chim in existence with its original exhaust, as it made no noise! Very disappointing, rolled the window down and everything!

Lots of stuff out today. Saw a white GTR, white r33 Skyline, and a red Lancia Delta on York ring road, pretty sure I followed a Miura into Ripon earlier, a few Caterhams between Ripon and Ripley, and just followed a silver Vuaxhall VXR8 through Leefs tunnels.

I think there was a grey Tesla Model S a couple of cars in front of me on Fulford Road, it might have been an Audi A7 though.

Very tempting, will wait to see if value's hold R8 style or if it depreciates like a stone.

Just managed to get a good look at the Ghibli before it left. Long time since I've seen one and it was in very clean condition.
At the other end of the scale, sad to say the worst car at the show was an early DB7 silver/grey on a private plate up for sale. 115,000 miles, big rust bubble nearside front wing, poor interior (although some may say nice patina), asking £15k. I love DB7s but not this one.

Saw a fair few TVRs sat outside the George and Dragon in Whitley just after 1pm yesterday. Its possible that that was en route to/from that.

I was in the lead TVR that waved at you as we headed back towards Skipton
after a few hours around the Dales
