14 days grace for displaying if you tax it online BEFORE the current tax disc expires. I dropped my car off for some work on the 31st of August. Woke up the next day and realised I had forgotten to tax it so gave the dvla a call. Was told there is no grace period if you miss the expiry date. Had to get a tax disc from the post office and post it down.

All that will be redundant from next month when they get rid of the physical disc.

White GT3RS on the A1 Northbound today between Thirsk and Leeming. Love the scaffolding in those!

Lovely dark red 64 plate M4 on Bootham near Gillygate, saw it again later coming the other way again on Bootham, from that angle it looked more orange. Stunning colour.
Also on Bootham a horrible lilac/purple coloured C4(I think SL08 WEV) went straight through a red light while a mother with a young daughter were crossing, luckily they saw the C4 coming.
I got the plate because I decided I'd report it but now I think that would seem a bit camera cyclist if I did.

Gorgeous cream Mark One Cortina at the Peckfield roundabout, 11ish this morning.

Earlier this week, a red Caterham on the Selby Ring Road and something big, black and American near Newsholme, only caught a glimpse of it but it looked late 60s/early 70s and was very, very cool.

Three noisy Cars in Little Ribston (betwix Wetherby and Knaresborough) tonight.
A White Mini Cooper S (BMW version) Supercharger screaming a bit, a certain locals Rally Mk2 Escort and then a Silver CTR, all giving it some serious grief out of the Village, the Mini won on volume, the Honda on rev limit, the Escort on shear class.

all I suspect disturbing the locals a bit.
