I'm looking to leave my car somewhere fairly central from luchtime Saturday until late morning on Sunday. A bit of Googling suggests that it's been possible at least until recently to park at Joseph's Well for free at weekends - does this still apply?

My Girlfriend uses the one on Whitehall road over the weekend when she visits. It costs £3 for 24 hours and is well lit and all serviced well too. Plus if you park near the block of flats and tell me the make, model and colour i can keep an eye out as my appartment looks over this carpark.

Put a pic on to help show where i mean.

Thank you that's just perfect! I'm staying at the Jurys Inn so it's not far to walk. I drive a black Focus ST170.

not sure but if you look on the map above. where starbucks is there's a road called Castle Street. There's an NCP car park there that i know is free with the barriers open. I park there all the time. i'm just not sure what time on Friday it technically closes and they leave the barriers open! Might be worth a try before going to the places highlighted.

But i think it is £3.
