And after getting briefly giddy over putting the 350i on the rollers I have been informed we have too much on tomorrow frown
If there is another I would be interested in attending

I will probably organise another one in a couple of months to see how my rustbucket runs after all the mods. Will keep you posted.

Added him to the list, we have hit the max of 20 now.

If anyone has a change of plans etc then just give me a shout on here. Otherwise I'll see you all tomorrow hopefully!

Heading down at 1pm, Evo, Exige S and a Mk2 Golf with a VR6 conversion to run (funnily enough Ben_Stevo's brother)

I'm about to make tracks but there's still 3 rwd cars to run so you guys should be fine if you make it here for 13:00 or thereabouts.

A big thanks to everyone for turning up, sorry I was late. Still in awe of the last VXR8 and the figures it put out. Mind bogglingly mental!

Doh edited my post. Seriously awesome cars, all 3 sounded glorious.

The food was supplied by Dave from CVR4, he was in the Silver Legnum VR4 that was on the rollers. I'm glad everyone turned up and enjoyed the day. Always nice to get a bunch of petrolheads together to drool over all sorts of nice metal. My mates Escort had some running issues which seem to be carb related. My jalopy was down by 40 bhp at the fly. The at the wheel figure is terrible, need to start hunting down those missing horses.

I had to leave just as the Noble was on the dyno. How did the other cars do?

Great to chat with everyone, thanks for the food also, although those sausage rolls were far too tempting, and I could not eat all my lunch. smile

Thanks for organising this giblet. A superb day, really enjoyed it and it's completely changed my views on Vauxhalls.
Thanks for the food too Dave.

The noble went on eventually. It seems to have lost the power of a small hatchback somewhere. I have a few ideas what it could be and it's coming apart tomorrow for a service so we shall see.

Cheers for organising the day!

Sorry about not making it. My hangover eventually shifted sometime in the afternoon when we went drinking for a few post b'/day drinks drinks. Taddy lager really does give one a hell of a hang over.

That Jag sounds like a right beast.

Anyone know what the TVR did? Had to go just before it ran.

The XFR impressed me a lot! 541hp on RS tunings rollers is amazing.

I made 342hp, on a previous RR I made peak hp after 7k rpm, made peak at 6500rpm this time and the power dropped off very early, not sure why (probs boost issues as its not running a 3port)

Decent weather and a good day, just a shame I arrived so late and missed most of the cars!

I missed out on seeing the Noble, XFR, Silvia and then the Evo and Exige running. I'm still in awe of the supercharged Monaro and the XFR. Funny how both of them have large V8's with a blower attached. No replacement for displacement I guess! I will probably organise another one in a few months once I have had my upgrades fitted and then the car remapped. Hopefully I will break the 300bhp mark next time round.
