Anyone know about the all you can fit in a barrow day for £50 next Saturday? I'm assuming there are some rules?

max 5 wheels / tyres, no using upturned bonnets as "base" , need to fit through the "goal posts" at the end.

With the number of people who seem to go every day to strip all the new arrivals of anything worthwhile to flog on Ebay ( ie this is a full time job to them) as opposed to people going to tackle a specific car for themselves general consensus now is that it is a bit of a waste of time.

Certainly my experience over the last few months has been this, the new website is pants, doesn't allow you to review any of the pictures of the car except the first one, the staff have no idea whether a specific car as shown on the website is actually available to the general public yet....get told to ring back next week only to find that the car was available 6 days earlier and has been completely stripped.

Yesterday morning I noted a MX5 coming through with a hard top. Rang up to be told that the vehicle was on its way into general access sometime yesterday, so made the not inconsiderable journey only to find that not only was the vehicle without the hard top, but both front wings, bonnet and boot, cabin, steering wheel, exhaust, air box had already gone!!

Upside I suppose is that things are considerably cheaper than Ebay and that occasionally you fall on something nice like an engine brace.
