Stag Do in Leeds next weekend anyone recommend decent places to eat, drink, club etc.

Like quirky pubs basically.

Reds bbq at the top of call lane. BBQ meat (lots of meat) and beer. Job done and man points added

God, Purple Door still going?! We ended up with the Red Dragon, or something, maybe the blue one. I cant remember

What we did do first though was go to Bradford and have curry, Akhbars I think it was. Or Mumtaz, one of them wouldnt let us drink so we went to the other one, more because we were half way towards being drunk and stopping for a couple of hours would have set us back.

This. It's owned by an old mate of mine and is excellent.

I'd stay down by the corn exchange as its a bit more chilled out.

There is always the Otley Run. Google it!

Well Stag Do done, first time out in Leeds door staff generally aholes. In group of 3 for example... sorry to many of you in a group (as wasn't a mixed group) plus plenty of other moments of them being awkward.

Reds was awesome place, good food well priced.

Don't think I'll be heading back there for a night out anytime soon.

Yeah you've got to tag onto a bunch of girls and offer to buy them a drink to get in places, it's a right pain, I just don't bother anymore, rather just go to a nice local pub like an old man now

Just be nice to the doormen and you should be OK.

I had my stag do in Brighton (no, I'm not gay) but 12 - 16 lads and we had NO problem at all. One of the bouncers even dragged me the front, slapped me about 3 times on face and told me not to do it!

Leeds is a good night life (from what I remember) but albeit a bit rough now!

It's a great night. Surprised by a lot of the negativity tbh. Got its iffy spots but there's some great food and drink places round the Calls and Corn Exchange.
