Well my dad had an exciting night last night. On his way home coming from Bramhope and just before the left hand bend on Cookridge Lane he spots a Subaru pretty bent up, on it's side and on fire with the driver banging for help stuck inside.

Lucky sod.

My mate mentioned something about a Subaru on fire the other day, although that is usually Holt Park not Cookridge tongue out

I know the family who owned that big house half way down Holt lane and the dad use to own a nice F355 but this was a good 12+ years ago.

Then there's the farmer along Cookridge Lane (something O'brien I think) who has a car graveyard inc' Evos and subarus just sitting. Can even see all the cars he's stashed in his woods on google earth.
Funnily enough one of my best mates owns the barn conversion next to that house, the guy with the 355 moved out a while back and there has been 2 other families in that house since if memory serves, the last guy tried to sell it for a few hundred K more than it was worth but got bartered down

My mate was considering buying it to have both buildings
The guy I share my race car with has that house now (if you mean the old farm house) - he's a PH'er too.

I've seen and heard your car a few times then, small world isn't it!

I've often pondered if he was a PH'er tbh

Next time you hear it, pop your head over the wall. If it's being run I'm probably there too - we didn't do much with it last year (other commitments) but we're hoping to get a bit more time in it this year so we'll be messing about with it a bit I suspect.

I avoid going down Holt Lane, there are some nasty pot holes all the way down it.

Not seen anything exciting driving around in the past couple weeks either.

I love holt lane, especially on a night when you can rally special stage it and see if anyone else is on the road by the headlights biggrin

Ha, The eaves have been open for the past two days (having a load of work done) and I sleep right under there...
