Is there an appetite for a PH club with drives out?

I remember the chap on the Skoda Octavia VRs used to organise quite a few PH runs from the forums but then i think he went aboard? Correct me if im wrong, i usually are!
These used to be always good with at least 10 - 15 cars, the last one i went to ending up at barnard castle i think after meeting at scotch corner, i think my car drunk about half a tank following him just to get to the meeting point, that black thing shifted lol
I still have an old phone pic some where, let me go dig it out!
(Excuse the horrible camera photo, it was a while ago!)
Mark is still overseas & was a keen organiser/attendee. I'd be happy to come along to a York based meet too Rich, plus we can do a few more open runs to see who's what & where's when etc. dawn Raids for the bona fide Ninja's only though
Big car park and easy to get to. North Yorks Lotus club meets there regularly.

I too remember that run that Martin posted the photo from. I have good ones myself somewhere.
Mark is on my facebook, playing racing driver nowadays.
I was up that way a few weeks ago with some friends met through forums. We did a good few hundred miles, then across to Cumbria. We had breakfast at Ullswater in the pissing rain!
As Burriana so often states - it is so worth getting up at (before?) the crack of dawn.
Been on run outs where we've done a few hundred miles of clear, traffic free roads, and still got home before most people are getting up on a Sunday.
TroubledSoul - you must only be a few minutes from me. I also head up to Squires semi-regularly on Jap night for a brew up and a chat.

Was a handful of folk there the other week, suspect will be barely any in December though very weather dependent. I'm only in Kippax so its no chore to go even if just for a brew.
Might head down next month just for the drive out. Bit more of a trek for me though as I live between Headingley and West Park. Is it still the second Tuesday of every month?snotrag said:

Yep. Remember this StuB? Watching the sun come up over Scarborough Castle, luckily the tea hut was open.Been on run outs where we've done a few hundred miles of clear, traffic free roads, and still got home before most people are getting up on a Sunday.
Not a bad turnout if I recall, yours and Rich's 911 Turbos, Gi's F360, my Testarossa, Chris's F599, Martyn's SL65 and Gary's McLaren. One of nature's better dawn choruses 😃
