Another vote for Anthony at BMWorkshop, he's got my 550i in at the minute for some minor jobs..

What I really like is he doesn't rush you off the phone and is happy to txt updates and answer questiones even out of hours.

Pick it up in the morning - I can't wait!
You were in the air when I was down there on Saterday looked clean from below

Bingley? How about ten mins over the tops in Haworth?

Talkwrench on here. High recommended by me, Benjj and several others on here.

He sorted my Z4 electrics out when I left the roof down over night in the pouring rain. This involved not replacing various ECUs and modules, but rebuilding and fixing them.

Oh, I have also trusted him to take the engines to pieces on a couple of my Ferraris as, he probably knows more about how the internal combustion engine works than your average main dealer technician. That's because he's an engineer.
Michael?? A very nice chap and I would recommend him. He's been fixing all the mistakes on my E34 M5 after it was not done properly at Classic MD Autos.

Anyone got any other recommendations - I need some work doing on my M5 but can't get hold of Michael [TW]for nor love or money.

Needs to be Leeds or Bradford - can't go further afield than this.

Failing that, a very competent mechanic will suffice.

Thanks

You'd have to speak to him.

Hello everyone,
has anyone used the BM Works in Leeds? It's around the corner from Anthony Rouse at BMWorkshop. I believe that both are ex BMW technicians.
thanks
David

I did go and talk to the BM Works guys just after they set up and they sounded very knowledgable, but I then found Anthony round the corner and after talking to him I immediately knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else and he would be looking after my M's...

6 year bump on this thread for appreciation of a great local Indy.

Anthony at the The Workshop in Leeds has looked after my car for the past year, been a couple of times to him now and i wont go elsewhere.

Both Anthony and the guy that works with him, haven't caught his name are both great guys, they are more than happy to answer any of your questions, i recommended these guys very much.

Agreed. When I saw the title of the thread, I thought of the BMW Workshop. I think It's Matt who works with Anthony. Both very good.
