Yes, I know its not West Yorkshire but this garage has done several for my customers and they all said how good a job it was. You could spend some money at Meadowhall while you wait......

Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend anyone who does the above in the West Yorkshire area.
Car in question is a Mazda6 2.0d
Thanks in advance :-)
Had mine done (same car) by some guys local to me (E/N Yorks border), plus ECU flash for £300. 6 months & 14,000 miles later & very happy with the results, though economy has dropped below 50mpg now I have winter tyres on. They did it in a day too. Can anyone recommend anyone who does the above in the West Yorkshire area.

Incorrect, it's an MOT failure.Had my 330 done

It's also a failure of moral standards, but don't let that stop you.
And as for morals were dose all the crap go when they regenerate that's if they do it
There just a very costly pain in the arce wich sap power and reduce mpg
There a con
It's an MOT fail because they changed the rules, removing a factory fitted DPF no longer allowed.
A 'diesel PARTICULATE filter' removes tiny soot particles which would end up in the atmosphere, which can be breathed in causing respiratory problems, and creates smog in large quantities.
When the DPF regenerates, it burns up most of the soot, and the rest gets blown out the exhaust, in larger particles which is heavier and falls to the ground as 'dirt'.

It may be technically no longer allowed but the tester cannot dismantle any parts on a test so if the DPF is hidden behind an undertray or heat shield or the insides have been removed and this cannot be determined without any form of dismantling, then it is a PASS. The fact there may be welding evident on the DPF suggesting the inside section has been cut out, on its own is not PROOF the DPF has been removed. Therefore the tester cannot fail it.A 'diesel PARTICULATE filter' removes tiny soot particles which would end up in the atmosphere, which can be breathed in causing respiratory problems, and creates smog in large quantities.
