The only reason I know is because I know the person that owns it, but don't like to mention names for privacy reasons etc. The owner previously had a V10 with the Capristo exhaust which I am sure was spotted once or twice on the 2013 and 2014 threads. If it wasn't for me knowing him then I would not know in the slightest about the exhaust, I'm no physic.

Why would I want to lie about something like that either? I could lie and say I saw an Aventador, Enzo, Carrera GT or whatever else, but I really don't see the point, I just post occasional updates of cars I see and find paticularly interesting.

Probably 15 - 20 MX5's all with the roofs down BRRRRRR!!! travelling west on the a1237 York outer ring road about 4pm. Some clever registrations too MX5 8LOW was one I remember

Followed an absolutely stunning red Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale through Headingley for a while today. That thing sounds utterly glorious even on idle. Superb symphony from the exhausts when the driver gave it a bit of welly.

Red Lancia Delta Integrale parked up in Mirfield

A black Maserati Granturismo in the Tesco petrol station in Skipton at around 12:00 today and then a fantastic yellow pop-up light model NSX heading towards the Skipton by-pass at the top of town at around 14:15. It was sporting some kind of higher rear spoiler and looked incredibly clean.

Yesterday - BMW i8 in white with blue highlights on the A63 heading towards Hull near Melton.
Today - Lamborghini Huracan in bright orange on the A63 travelling west near Melton.

Surprised by both these spots with the grim weather we've had!

Am I missing something here? What has texting him got to do with anything, I simply posted here about the R8, I thought this was a thread about cars spotted in the Yorkshire area. I understand I worded my original post a bit weirdly but I didn't realise I'd get this much grief for simply documenting a spot just like everyone else on here.

Which if you do, then fair play to the lad for doing something to raise money, but I really don't see how it is legal? I can't believe all the mods are declared to his insurance company, and i'm not sure having a skateboard stuck to the front will help the pedestrian safety.

A good attempt at a Corsa VXR rep at the Kirkstall Morrisons petrol station tonight but the piddly sxi brakes were an easy giveaway. Don't know why someone would go to all that effort though.
