Who organises these runs? Not sure, I get an invite twice a year via FB - I think they have there own page with details.,
The cars had fairly large stickers on them but the only text I could make out was 'Rally', so could have been the BT Run

Parked up on the Buttertubs Pass between Wensleydale and Swaledale on Saturday afternoon having a brew. Suddenly heard a deep burble; only a bright red Countach followed by a rumbling procession of lovely motors, including a TVR (Chimaera I think), a 6R4, Impreza, Evo, M3, MX5, R8, GTA Alfa, C63, Monaro, Noble, Corrado, Focus RS and a Jag F Type. Sorry to those I've missed out - there must have been about 25 in all. Quite made my day
Part of the twice yearly Buttertubs Run, its a good run out.The cars had fairly large stickers on them but the only text I could make out was 'Rally', so could have been the BT Run
If anyone has visited the LGI, they will probably know the multi-storey car park there, and the rather tight ramps. It was tricky enough getting a Mondeo around there never mind a Bentley!
Possibly one for the bad parking thread and the reg plate thread too. Although to be fair, the Suzuki doesn't need much space. Ideal for that car park!
Looking good for a 10 year old motor, in fact I think they look better to my eyes now than they did when they first came out.

My wife managed to reprofile the sill of her old Puma in there, a Puma FFS, one of the narrowest cars we've ever had. It is a crap car park though. thetapeworm said:

Followed a lovely Corvette towards Leeds today through Sherburn. I was in the Fezza behind you.
Saw a mk2 and mk1 Escort together in Sherburn too later on the way back through, we exchanged waves.
I also gave a thumbs up to a GTR too somewhere along the route between Garforth and Squires.
Chatted to a couple of good lads in a van in the Shell station in Garforth. Thanks for the reference to me being old (I'm 45, sigh).
And I took great pleasure in doing a full U turn back through the lights to go back and let a 4 year old (I guess) lad sit in the 458 and his Dad take photos after seeing the lad get very excited about seeing the Fez at the lights in Sherburn. Hope he enjoys showing his mates the photo. I was once that 4 year old. :-)

The Sherburn thing might explain why there was a classic 1930 Bentley parked on the hard shoulder at the top of the M1 yesterday (technically the M621 now). Reg UW 5805
Oddly enough tonight there was a car parked in the same place with its front offside wheel at a VERY jaunty angle. No idea how that happened, the bumper didn't seem damaged.
And if anyone is the driver of the black RS4 Avant, registration 72B, I'm glad to see your emergency braking system works well. Who knew the motorway into Leeds is 50 mph eh?
