First new Civic Type R today in Armley, where the carpet shop is. Didn't look as ott as I expected
Had a long look at the PH fleet one at yesterdays Sunday service. It looks a lot less over the top in the flesh, it was parked up next to a Golf R and made it seem rather bland and boring.Wills2 said:
Never seen flooding like it! The Aire valley is a lake
We had to turn back a couple of times today as roads were very much flooded. Plenty over in the Wharfe valley according to relatives in Tadcaster too!Back on topic and appropriately named for this weather, saw a Corrado VR6 Storm at Hipperholme traffic lights on Boxing Day!
Went to my workplace on Kirkstall Rd last night at 18:00ish and the water wasn't too bad. Shell further down was flooded and the cops had blocked the road off outside our office. Before I left they had moved the roadblock further back before the Ford dealership.
Went back at 23:30 and there was a full flowing river there! Went down again this morning and it had receded a bit but still not passable. Looks like it's been raining again this evening though. I feel bad for the owner of the recording studio in the basement of the building.
Red 360 in Roundhay this afternoon, aftermarket exhaust sounded nice.
