2 different Jaaaag XK8's in metallic blue in Morley today, lovely cars. Also a blue Astra VXR with green Vauxhall badge being driven in a nobbish fashion on the Ring Rd near the M621.

A great sounding Vauxhall Astra VXR Nurburgring edition (white of course, white wheels) heading up from the White Rose in Leeds towards the M62 at around 3:30pm today - got the lanes completely wrong and was attempting east instead of the desired westbound so had to accelerate with a degree of "spirit" to cross back over. I'm not sure if it was standard or not (I know there is another modified one I see a lot in Morley) but the exhaust note and pops and crackles were a delightful break to the Sound of Music soundtrack that was being forced upon me.

Cheers to the 06-plate Scooby for joining the A1 northbound near South Elmsall at about 8pm yesterday and livening up the final stages of a tedious haul with good noises.

Might not be your cup of tea but they're far from being a bad car!

Perhaps he meant worst driven cars on the roads?

I'd possibly agree however the yobbos tend to be moving away from imprezas now thankfully and into astra VXRs

By far the worst driven cars on the road without doubt but I am not a lover of their looks, think they sound terrible and the one time I drove one I couldn't wait to get out.

Just my opinion and sure many will disagree

Well thanks for sharing.
BTW this is the "spotted" thread, not the "moan about" thread.
I don't like BMWs but I don't go on about it.

Talking of BMW's, spotted an I8 in Huddersield at about 11 this morning. Always quite liked them but they look horrible in white!

TVR Tuscan coming into Leeds around 7.30am today from the A63 Side outside Etap hotel!

Lovely car!
Not a purple one with reg ending FER? If so that was the one using the bus lane in town last week.
That sounds suspiciously like one of our LM group. He's probably just staying close to the kerb in case it goes on fire again.
Ha ha! Good old TVR's. Ah, how I miss mine. About a week a year (which was about the duration per annum when they all worked as they should).

Aye, Gordons Tuscan seems like Triggers Broom at times but he's had it as long as I've known him.
Ah, I feel I have my honour to defend here. Not for the fire incident (which was genuine, and genuinely scary). The only bus lane I can think of is the access to my office (Infirmary Street) which I'm OK to use. Or at least, I hope so, because I and everyone else who parks here have been doing for several years smile Of course, we could just be building up a massive collective backlog of penalties.
