A black Audi R8 convertible heading in the Humber bridge direction. Sadly the driver seemed intent on making unsafe overtakes, forcing one car into the gutter coming the opposite way and showering the car it was passing with grit from the hashed centre section before riding all over rear of the next car like a cheap suit.
Anybody can drive a sports car, it takes a true gent/lady not to drive it like an utter nobsack.

Whilst sipping beer in Stamford Bridge yesterday, I had the delights if a black Aston DB9 Volante, a red Audi Quatrro and a blue 911 all come rumbling past waiting to cross the bridge.
One of those might have been me if it was around 2 in the afternoon.RSteve said:
Was up at the Squires cafe JDM meet last night, some very nice metal in attendance.
However, the actual spot wasn't within the meet, but a red Ferrari 458 Spyder went flying past earlier in the evening, then again in the opposite direction a couple hrs late, sounded tremendous.
I always miss good jap meets, where do you hear about them? However, the actual spot wasn't within the meet, but a red Ferrari 458 Spyder went flying past earlier in the evening, then again in the opposite direction a couple hrs late, sounded tremendous.

Friends if I'm honest, this is the only JDM meet I'm aware of, I know it's the first Tuesday of every month up at Squires Cafe.Really good turnout too, so you should get yourself up to the next one (plenty of Supras, Skylines etc).

Lovely, immaculate Interceptor on Filey seafront on Monday. Bloke driving looked cool as duck in his braces.
Yellow Huracan parked up near the pier in Whitby later the same day. Parked like a bit of a knob but nice to see it left out in the open where people could get up close and gawp. Owner nowhere to be seen.

Twas I. Im always super careful there due to the narrowing dip under the bridge and bikes entering/exiting Squires (I was there Sunday for the Ford meet and just crossing the road to the grass car park is an adventure) so it allows me to slow right down, drop the gears, make sure it's clear and then gun it, which is no hardship. :-)However, the actual spot wasn't within the meet, but a red Ferrari 458 Spyder went flying past earlier in the evening, then again in the opposite direction a couple hrs late, sounded tremendous.
Very cool Red Ferrari 360 Spider driving through Rothwell near the park and morrisons, and then a White 997 GT3 driving down Leeds Road heading from Robin Hood up to Lofthouse. Grey E92 M3 with Black Competition wheels on the A650 Bradford Road heading towards Wakefield (looked like a Matte finish).

We must have been in Rothwell at the same time! Presumably the same 360 Modena Spyder V8SVV turning onto Aberford Road opposite the war memorial. Lots of assorted convertibles around, only one driven by a female actually had its hood down. All the rest seemed to be chaps of a certain age (the grey in my hair would probably put me in that category now). Lovely day for it though.
