Forgot to say thank you earlier to the fg tt in a black Civic that joined the M62 West bound at 08:30 this morning, who appeared to be too concerned tossing about with an Audi TT to care about anyone else & joined the motorway by cutting straight across the chevrons to get around another car. Chucked a load of rocks & crap into the air & straight into the front of my car & doing this to my 3-week old, £4k paint job:

No I never thought to be honest. I was gunna go after him but then I figured the dhead probably wouldn't have a clue what I was ranting about, & he joined a junction or 2 before the A1 South turn-off & I turned off the junction after for A1 North. I actually said outloud to myself "what a tit" then heard a little thud but didn't think too much of it until I stopped & saw that! Did you get his Reg? report for driving without due care?

Saw the car at Burghley and had a good long look at the (then) immaculate paintwork telling other half what a nice job it was.

Wasn't near M606 was it? Before Christmas I came across a black Civic that had joined the M62 from the 606 and did pretty much the same thing Ae hole

Its sometimes wasted on some people, not everyone cares about their car, and the condition of it.Might be worth trying to add a film protection once it fixed, something like the 3M stuff.

Never used it but know a chap with a Ferrari who has and its virtually unseen once fitted.

Thanks very much! I'm sure it's repairable, just a bit of a blow that it only lasted 3 weeks!Saw the car at Burghley and had a good long look at the (then) immaculate paintwork telling other half what a nice job it was.

No I think it was the A19 he came from, West bound. Could have been the M18 junction before though I can't quite remember. Wish I took his reg!!andyman_2006 said:

I'll have a look into that, thanks. I would probably cover the whole of the front service bonnet so hopefully you wouldn't see it at all. I'll have to look at prices but might be cheaper in the long run!Might be worth trying to add a film protection once it fixed, something like the 3M stuff.
