Are there any going on?

I'd like to come to a PH meet but never seem to know they are happening until it's too late

I've just posted a thread in the events forum asking - why does nothing happen up north?

I'd love to be involved with some events / meets and drive outs, but don't know of any!

Malton big breakfast is the next one I am waiting for.

Is there a thread for the malton one?

I don't think it's been organised yet. It's normally around Easter I think. In fact I'm pretty sure it's usually Easter Sunday smile

I should get my car back next week and I'd be up for some meets.

Looks like it's on for Easter Sunday, once the dates been confirmed we can out one together to see who from piston heads is going. Could even arrange a meet up before and then drive to Malton together, depending on where people are coming from

There are always the Motorsport type events to consider, not organised by PH as such though.

As Gemini said on the post above.

When it is announced, there will be a thread put up by Mark for everyone to list their attendance smile

There will then be several threads appear regarding drives out beforehand. Some of these are rumoured start around 7 or 7:30... others have done over 100 miles on empty roads by then wink

I think its high time I organised another early morning Sunday run out. Been a while & a recent service has my car feeling brand new again biggrin

Usual format, 06.15 meet Sunday morning, date & location or be confirmed, long run, making plenty of progress, need to limit the number of cars to about 8.

Not one for the sightseers or show n shine brigade wink

I'd love to have another early morning drive out, been far too long since I last did one. Might just be able to keep up this time.

What sort of cars attend this Sunday drive out? Is it a morning of drive it like you stole it?

It's brisk.

But to answer your question, in the past we have had 911 Turbos, Ferraris of various sorts, McLaren, AMGs, Lotus, TVRs (though not so many these days), BMWs, Boxsters, Lamborghinis, even a Conti GT, although that was a bit of a slow old bus ;-)

You'd be surprised, too much power/size on too small roads driving I just don't like getting up early!
