Just looking up on buying entry tickets but the only options given are for 'display cars'.

Are there different tickets for the public to turn up and wander around or do you just pay on the gate? I don't think a GTI6 quite fits the supercar group.
If it's like last year, you pay to enter Newby Hall grounds and the car show is included.

Prices are;

Adult £10.20
Over 65s £9.20
Child (4-15)/Disabled £8.00
Family (2+2) £34.00
Family (2+3) £40.00

Unless you want to go round the house (if you like that sort of thing it's actually pretty good) then it's dearer.
There's a lot for kids to do in the grounds, not so much if you're not interested in formal gardens or adventure playgrounds though.

Pistonheads will be parked together in the main mixed area smile
Rushing around preparing so just notice this thread again.
Numbers are now 266 smile and a whole week left to get a ticket.
So could be the biggest meet ever.

When you book your ticket you pick your group to park with. This is only for display cars. We do cover a lot of cars so send me details and I will see if it qualifies as a sporty car smile

The way I understand it is, if you're not in a display car, turn up and pay full entry at the gate to the grounds, park round the corner and walk to where the cars are smile.

Thanks mate. Been to the last 3 CITP so will hide daily runner behind a tree. Strangely, it had a new turbo fitted today on a Toyota recall....must be turbo season then. irked

Got 8 on the pistonheads list at the moment. You will be parked in the main area with a lot of nice motors.

372 Cars on the list and the last minute ticket rush has only just started. So we may creep up to 500 redface

Planning on attending in my BMW 130i so if anybody sees it give me a wave smile

Won't be going for the display tickets as I can't stay until the 4PM close so will need to get gone at about 1-2, otherwise would have been great to park in the PH section.

Looking forward to this now, my first ever meet/car show since I went to the birmingham International motor show when I was in my early teens.

Oh really? I'd have thought if your in the "display" section you would have to stay until the end due to issues with people walking around with cars coming & going everywhere? Hmmmm.

People were leaving early last year, think of the display area as more like a busy (with people) car park, a slowly moving car won't be too much of a problem.

The parking allows an exit route for everyone, you can leave when you want.
