I am thinking about going with an Independent for my servicing, car is 997.2 C2s 2009 done 29000 miles, so is due a minor service and brake fluid change, according to Porsche £630 less 10%. I know I could easily halve that figure with an indi so who has the best reputation.

I would suggest Strasse in Leeds all day long - they've loooked after several of my cars and are good with everything from air cooled to GT3s plus they won the club championship last year so obviously know what they doing when it comes to setting up cars etc

Not affiliated with anyone but I would recommend them all day long

I used a combination of Specialist Cars of Malton and Porschtek when I had the turbo.

I did pop in to Strasse once but didn't like their attitude. Maybe they were having a bad day.

Thanks for the comments so far. Can't decide if I would be affecting the potential resale value if I went Indi

In your neck of the woods I would suggest Porsche and Euro Car Specialists in Barnsley, have a chat with John, or you could try Revolution Porsche Specialists near Halifax.

You will not harm the resale value one bit by using an Indy, in fact most purchasers prefer a good Indy over the tosh service you can get at an OPC.

Steve who ran the place for years left a while ago. The owner Mike, spends most of his time in Thailand. I stopped using them when Steve left.

This. Absolutely agree - I've used both many times and the service is first class. Reputable Indi servicing won't affect your resale as you are buying an enthusiasts car.

Go for whichever is closest. Talk to john at Euro or Russ at revolution. Top blokes.

Thanks for the responses. Going to give Strasse a try, from the recommendations and convenience to Leeds I can fit it in with work one day next week.
