Heard an odd turbo-fan type sound that didn't sound quite right whilst just out cycling. Looked up and there is a US Osprey doing laps of the Moors. Flew over again a bit later. Very cool looking contraption - never seen one in the flesh before.
Yes, saw it over my spot near Catterick Garrison ranges, thought it was maybe doing joint exercises ? Looked pretty cool, first time I've seen one in person !
