Funny that, my mate has an R8 and that had problems on the way down to Le Mans yesterday. The Ferraris, Lamborghinis and TVR were fine wink
It was only a flat tyre !!.....I'm hoping nothingness goes wrong but the car is under warranty so no major worries hopefully!

I was gutted not to be able to drive the car for the 12 hours ut was off the road given the lovely weather......looking forward to Sunday morning!

Not wishing to dampen your spirits but I've just been out for a rather wet 'hoon' this morning from N Leeds up North towards Thirsk, back down to York and back to Leeds and there was a camera van just setting up stall on the A19 at 7am, another one came past me northbound enroute somewhere and then another one on the A64 near Tadcaster already set up. This was all before 7.30. grumpy

We'll take a view, at tea time if I can't put the roof down, I can't see any point going for a drive seeing as we are heading into better weather.

Looking at forecast tomorrow for York, Malton, Pickering areas you'll be fine with the roof down if you don't mind getting wet! wobble

Is that another run getting cancelled then? hehe

Oh no, a potential cancellation of the drive?......I guess its pretty pointless if its raining, but heres hoping for some clear weather...

Well my car has passed the MOT so I am still keen.... Shall we confirm this evening chaos?

On the route it seems to be mainly light rain showers forecast.

Have to say, with summer coming, I'd anther spend £50 on a sunnier morning... but as I put the flag up, I'm happy to get a bit damp if the consensus is still up for it?

Likewise. 5.30am start from Leeds still sounds painful but will be good to go for a hoon. Bit of rain (hopefully) shouldn't spoil our fun too much!

All emails now sent it out. Let me know if you don't get it and let me have another contact email. We are out from out 7pm this evening but I will check when we get in about 11pm.

It's a lovely route, well worth getting up early for: Open moorland roads, twisty valley roads, 1:4 climbs, sweeping A roads... and a full English to finish. What more could you possibly want? smile

Hi guys, I'm up for this even if it is a bit wet, will be in a Renaultsport Megane Cup.
I don't really know anyone on here but quite fancy doing a few of these early morning drives this year.

Thanks, Adam.

Al, email received thanks contrary to what I posted a few mins ago.....made its way into spam folder!

Martyn, would love to see that lovely porker of yours again. ...I'm assuming you've still got it....

If the drive is cancelled due to weather I take it Al will post on here or should we be checking our emails (or both!)
