Quality alloy wheel refurb in West Yorkshire...
Discussion
Hi folks
I need to get the alloys on my R8 refurbished.....they are currently in OEM gunmetal finish and I want to try and get an OEM finish
Now the problem I have is that their is an abundance of refurb places in West Yorkshire all claiming to give a top class finish, but we all know that the finishes on wheel refurbs can vary massively.
I had my 997 alloys refurbed by Lepsons and the quality and finish was impeccable, but it was headache getting it done, having to get a guy to come up with loan wheels etc and I am looking for a local solution.
Can anyone recommend any places?....also does anyone have experience of CAS coatings in Bradford, they seem very cheap (which is not my objective here) and claim to give OEM results.......
Thanks in advance!

I used Chris at http://www.exelwheels.co.uk/ for my GT3. He comes to your house or work, swaps the wheels over with a loan set. Has the refurbished at Lepson's. Returns a week later and swaps them back again. Chris is highly recommended on Ph.
When my wife scuffed a wheel on her RR, I used a good quality body-shop who wet painted it to get the perfect OEM match.

Don't use CAS if you want anything other than 'poor/piss poor' quality.
Had a few set done by them and every set had imperfections in the powder coating.
Think that's a bit harsh based on my experience,. You get what you pay for and these guys are great for cheap refurbs, but I wouldn't give them R8 wheels.Had a few set done by them and every set had imperfections in the powder coating.
