Had a storm about 3.30am here near the airport. Lightning has zapped the huge oak tree in the grounds of the property across the road. Proper shat myself when it struck as the thunder chap was like 0.5 second after the flash .
I got woken up by the storm last. Not quite a close as that but enough to keep me awake. OH remained fast asleep, though she'd sleep through a plane crash
