The sort where you can go and look at the cars and take bits off yourself. Ideally with one car on top of the other (three high frightens me), but the direct access is what Im really after.

Located in South Yorkshire or North East Derbyshire ideally, but Id travel for something large/good enough.

Thanks in advance.

Not all that close but there is `Porky`s` in Malton which is small but has a reasonable turn over, Beechwood spares near Market Weighton, Melbourne autos near Pocklington (Storwood - in middle of nowhere really!) Piggotts at Strensall and at Stamford Bridge, `U-pull it`.
You could have a tour of North Yorks & super fish & chips at Stamford Bridge.
I did go to Motorhog near Doncaster recently which was so large it was hard to believe, but they do all the removal - price was good though. A phone call will let you know if they`ve got what you need. Lots of others I knew near Wakefield area have disappeared. There must be one in Barnsley somewhere!
If you come across an old Saab 900 up to `93 please let me know!

Thanks Julian. NY is too far for bits and bobs for an indulgence unfortunately. Having dealt with Doncaster Motor Spares before I wouldn't go again, no matter what decade of what they call themselves.

There used to be an old school yard in Bolton on Dearne, I wonder whether there still is?

Balby Motor Spares. Stacked cars, plenty of parts and decent blokes. Take your tools and get stuck in....

ETA it is around the corner from Arkwright's Shop, so get the photo op whilst there...
