Cars in the Park - 27th September - Lotherton Hall
Discussion
Was only asking as at the event early on this year it had a PH section and theres an option to pick the stand on the booking page.
What were bad about the last event? The organisation could have been better but the selection of cars there were really good and I had a good day out.

Never had a complaint before and its been going 10+ Years
Only issue we had at Newby hall was a last minute rush for tickets messed up the parking plan a bit. So we had to use the overflow in front of the house.
You need to book before 12am on Friday the 25th this time. If you want to park with pistonheads then make sure you select the group from the list.
562 cars at Newby in May
Lotherton is a bit smaller as its not been running as long but looks like attendance will be good. I have 215+ cars down and that's before the last minute rush for tickets.

Chris,
My dad wants to come in either his 911 or old mini, he has asked me if he can just turn up or if he needs to pre-book to not end up in the general car park. I am going to try and get across with my 911 also, but it depends upon when my sons football match finishes so will end up in general parking.
(Edit: sorry Chris, just looked at your profile and found the link to the CITP web site)

Tried to log on yesterday and today to get tickets for Sunday but my account is locked out. Tried a password reset that was sent but still not able to log on. Account locked.
Home page says cannot display on the field now. This cannot be right? Surely you can pay the full rate at the gate?

Went along this afternoon, left it a bit late in the day but I enjoyed looking at some lovey motors and talking to the enthusiastic owners.
But.
Why is it that people feel the need to have the music blasting out constantly.
I'm talking about the Vectra group with the blue Vectra with the doors and boot open and the incessant din coming from the car at max volume. I didn't see the owner, there was no one around the car so it wasn't as if the owner was showing his mates his new boom boom box and tweaked the volume up to show how loud it was.
Unfortunately, there is always one.
Now, I already know that I'm a grumpy miserable old fart and each to their own and all that but why, just why.
